ALTHEA Dating was born from a simple belief: there are still people who want to meet real people.
Not empty profiles.
Not inactive accounts that only exist to make a platform look bigger.
Not people who are there just to create the illusion that something is happening.
I mean real people. Present people. People with the desire to connect, to be honest, and to build something with intention.
For a long time, I felt that many dating apps promised something different. Something easier. Something almost perfect. But many times, once I entered, the experience felt the same: profiles that do not respond, people who are not active, promises that do not match the reality, and a feeling that the process is not always transparent.
I have felt misled by other dating apps myself.
That is why ALTHEA was not born from a cold business idea. It was born from personal experience. It came from difficult moments, frustration, and the question many of us ask ourselves: is it still worth trying to meet someone serious in a world that moves so fast?
My answer is still yes.
For me, the word intention matters because without intention, nothing begins. Intention is where the desire to build something real is born. Verification and more complete profiles are not there to make the process harder. They are there to protect the experience. To anyone who has lost faith in dating apps, I would say something simple: the person building ALTHEA has not lost faith yet. And I have been in that same situation too.
